Theoretical Approach & Philosophies of Counseling:

The way I approach counseling and see the world is very much from a humanistic lens. I value genuineness, authenticity, and building strong therapeutic relationships. My goal is to create a non-judgmental, caring space for you to feel safe and for your voice to be heard. When people feel empowered, change and growth can occur. I believe in walking beside you rather than pushing from behind or pulling you along. At the end of the day, you’re the only one who gets to decide what is best for you and I am here to be a supportive guide.

About Me:

I have lived all over NE Ohio, but Cuyahoga Falls has been my home for the past five years. I cannot get enough of the hiking and biking trails, restaurants, shops, and community events – there’s nothing that a visit to a local Falls’ spot with good company can’t fix! The joke around the office is that I am a “crazy plant lady” and that I have researched and tended to my plants more than my dissertation (yikes). At the end of my busy days, I love coming home to spend time with my now husband and kitten nuggies, Pearl (AKA Widdle Pea) and Louie (AKA Lou-bacca). My husband and I look forward to trying different box meals and binge-watching our favorite shows when we aren’t teaching or out with friends.
