Theoretical Approach & Philosophies of Counseling:
I believe that everyone is capable of uncovering and shifting self-defeating thoughts while promoting resilience in their everyday lives no matter the circumstances. Counseling is not one-size-fits-all, so together we will discover your strengths and learn new coping skills that work for you. I strive to create a safe, comforting, and warm environment where my clients can explore their concerns without the distractions of the world. Humor is something to expect with me as well! I specialize in working with late teens and emerging adults and have spent the bulk of my career doing trauma work as well as treating the symptoms related to complex trauma. I am trained in EMDR through the Institute for Creative Mindfulness and am currently working toward further EMDR certification.

About Me:
When I am not wearing my counselor hat, you can find me traveling with my husband, going to concerts (we try to attend one every month), enjoying a fancy cup of coffee, or playing Animal Crossing. I’m a bit of a gym rat, but I also love being outdoors and hiking at my favorite spot in Rocky River, OH. I am a big Cleveland Baseball fan and try to make it out to games as often as possible. I have also never been known to turn down a good queso dip or street taco!
