Theoretical Approach & Philosophies of Counseling:
Through life lessons and personal growth, I have learned to assist others by utilizing empathy and understanding. I specialize in bringing a down to earth, uncanny experience to each session. I live by the motto “Treat others how you want to be treated.” I utilize CBT and DBT in my daily practice, and my mission is to provide a safe and empathetic space for individuals to explore their feelings and thoughts. I work with all ages ranging from 5 to 71 and aim to support individuals in navigating challenges; promoting mental, emotional, and person growth; gaining resilience; and developing skills for individuals to utilize in their daily lives on their journey toward changes they desire. While working with peers and individuals, I have worked to develop my personal awareness, overall skills, and self-help tools to assist others to meet their goals and aspirations. I work hard to be consistent, honest and supportive to those in need.

About Me:
Before going back to school for counseling, I was able to work across a plethora of fields with the many populations; autism, foster care, groups homes, military families, school based, alternative setting included. I’ve lived in Kansas and California before moving back home to Ohio (born and raised). I really enjoy living every day to the fullest with a grateful heart and mind. I believe that everyone has their own purpose and space to flourish. In my free time I love to travel, explore new things and places. I enjoy reading, (primarily audiobooks, shameless plug: check out the Libby library app), learning new things, and being provided the opportunity to engage with amazing people. So thank you, for being amazing and adding to my experience and growth. I look forward to holding space with you.
