Theoretical Approach & Philosophies of Counseling:

I approach counseling from a trauma-informed perspective and assist clients with identifying feelings, and in managing, coping with and changing unwanted thoughts and behaviors. I work with individuals and couples ages 13 years and older, with specialties in trauma, substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, postpartum, general life adjustments and other mental health issues. Using a variety of interventions including EMDR, CBT, DBT and Solution-Focused therapies, I work collaboratively with clients to help them process their experiences and encourage healing.

About Me:

In my personal time, I enjoy spending time laughing with my family, binge watching or reading British mysteries, getting new tattoos, eating dessert, doing yoga and loving my sweet dog Mabel.
