Theoretical Approach & Philosophies of Counseling:

I believe the relationship between a counselor and client is one of the most important parts of the counseling process. I value taking the time to make counseling a safe, comfortable, and trusted place where you can feel free to be your true self without judgment. I believe it is important to work together to make sure you are getting what you want and need from the counseling process. I work from a strengths-based lens and want to empower you to recognize your own positive qualities, potential, and worth! I generally work from a person-centered counseling approach, but always customize my counseling approach to fit the unique needs of each client. I am here to be your ally and advocate.
