Theoretical Approach & Philosophies of Counseling:

As a counselor, my goal is to create a space that is safe for you to tell your story. Counseling is a collaborative process, and I hope to be able to work alongside you, support you, and empower you. I tend to practice counseling from a humanistic foundation while also integrating techniques from other therapeutic approaches. This means that I believe individuals have the innate ability to grow, heal, and create meaningful change. I also approach counseling from a holistic perspective which means that I understand the importance of considering the broader context of each individual’s life, and I strive to incorporate these factors into the counseling process. At the heart of this approach is my goal to meet you where you are at and find a strategy that fits your needs.

About Me:

Outside of work, some of my favorite things to do are reading, running, playing piano, and anything crafty (I have been really enjoying knitting recently). I also love getting to enjoy nature in any way and exploring new coffee shops!
