Theoretical Approach & Philosophies of Counseling:
My objectives in counseling are to provide individuals with a safe environment to develop skills centered around empowerment, self-discovery, and acceptance. Through an existential and person-centered lens, I hope to assist you in navigating the factors that have led you to counseling, as well as provide you with tools to take on future obstacles. Through compassionate, thoughtful, and curious conversation around your life experiences and values, my hope is that you are able to come away from our sessions knowing more about your relationships and yourself. In addition to my experience thus far as a counselor in training, I have attended trainings pertaining to Gottman Method therapy for couples, LGBTQ+ cultural competencies, and counseling ethics and values.

About Me:
When I am not working, I like to spend my time reading, going to trivia nights with friends, and going out to watch live music. I typically wind down my days by watching one of my comfort films, which were all released sometime between 2000-2007 (the golden era of rom- coms).
