Theoretical Approach & Philosophies of Counseling:
My approach to counseling focuses on the idea that mental health is an essential part of well-being. I believe that each client is the expert in their own life, shaped by their unique strengths, needs, and experiences. My role as a counselor is to walk alongside my clients as they work toward balance and healing. I utilize a person-centered approach in my work, integrating ideas rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). It’s important to me to provide a safe and supportive environment where my clients feels heard, understood, and respected. My hope is that through our work together, you’ll feel empowered and motivated to take on life’s challenges in a way that is meaningful to you.
