Theoretical Approach & Philosophies of Counseling:
My approach to therapy is grounded in evidence-based practices including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), but at its core, it’s about building a real connection. I believe healing happens through collaboration – you’re the expert on your life, and I’m here to walk alongside you as we explore what’s working, what’s not, and what’s next.
I show up to each session with authenticity, warmth, and compassion, creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can feel seen and supported. Whether you’re navigating a specific challenge or just feeling stuck, my goal is to help you build resilience, deepen self-understanding, and develop practical tools to move forward in a way that feels right for you.

About Me:
When I’m not in the therapy room, you can usually find me with a book in hand, planning my next travel adventure, or working on a cross-stitch project that may or may not get finished. I love spending time with friends and family, and I believe that laughter, connection, and a good cup of coffee can go a long way.
